How to report and get your 10 hours per year of continuing education for MG certification
Online Reporting System
https://mastergardener.extension.wisc.edu/report-your-hours/
To report Continuing education hours on the Online Reporting System:
- Click on Report Your Hours
- Log in with name and password
- On the menu bar select Add Hours
- Click on Continuing Education Hours
- Click on Go
- Input date if different than current date
- Give a brief description with article title and/or web link
- Input hours using decimals for parts of hours.
- Click on Add to add these hours
To check your accumulated hours for the year:
- Click on My Hours on menu bar
- Click on My CE Hours on drop down box
- Click on Options
- Select Group By
- Drag Year over to Selected Fields
- Click on Apply
- Scroll down to current year

Below are some websites that offer educational opportunities in gardening and horticulture. Books and magazines available at your local library are also great sources for continuing education. Any research you do for your own gardening, or for others (if not counted as volunteer hours), such as pest management or invasive species mitigation also qualify for continuing education credit.
