April Pruning and Grafting Workshops

It's that time of year for a trio of workshops on pruning and grafting.

April 11 - Apple Pruning Workshop at Steve Carlson Orchard, Shell Lake 3:00-5:30 pm

Free & Open to the public. For more information and to preregister call the Spooner Area Ag Agent's Office at 715-635-3506 or 800-528-1914.

April 11 - Apple Grafting at the Spooner Agricultural Research Station 6:30-8:00 pm
This workshop is $20 per participant and pre-registration is required with pre-payment. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. April 14 - Grape Pruning Workshop at the Spooner Agricultural Research Station 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
The workshop will include a short classroom discussion on basic grape management, grape training systems and pruning followed by an outdoor pruning demonstration. There is no cost and the event is open to the public. Pre-registration is requested by contacting the Spooner Area Ag Agent's office at 715-635-3506 or 800-528-1914.
